Mr. Arun Shourie (noted journalist, author and politician) delivered   NALSAR Public Policy Lecture  on the theme 'Reading Judgments and Freeing Regulators'. 
The lecture was  held on July 6, 2016 (Wednesday) between 4 pm - 5:30 pm at M.K. Nambyar SAARCLaw Centre in the NALSAR University  campus  .

Nalsar hosted a public talk by Yogendra Yadav (well known election analyst and activist)on January 17, 2017 at 11:30 am in the saarclaw centre. The theme for the talk was "India at Crossroads".

TechLawForum@NALSAR has invited Mr. Apar Gupta, an advocate, Mr. Raman Jit Singh Chima, an policy advocate, and Mr. Kiran Jonallagadda, a programmer,  to delivery a  techno-legal talk on the policy engagement in the tech sphere and how advocacy can be done to secure public interest. The Talk happened in Jhunhunwala Hall , Nalsar Universaity of law.

Mr. Dayan Krishnan happens to be from the rare class of “self-made” lawyers, in a profession where supposedly lineage plays an instrumental role to make one’s way up. After graduating from NLSIU ,worked Santosh Hedge, a former judge of the Supreme Court and former Solicitor General of India.till 1999, after which he set up his own practice. He was designated as a Senior Advocate in 2014 alongside Anup Bhumbhani and Amit Sibal. 

Mr. Krishnan has been engaged in the following international assigments vis-a-vis extradition law

• Appointed as Special Public Prosecutor in the matter pertaining to the extradition of David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana. (2014),• Appointed as Special Counsel for the Central Bureau of Investigation to represent the Government of India in the matter relating to the extradition of Mr. Varley from the United Kingdom in the Goa child sex abuse case. (2012),• Appointed as Special Counsel for the Central Bureau of Investigation to represent the Government of India for the extradition of Ravi Shankaran from the United Kingdom. (2011),• Appointed as Special Counsel for the National Investigation Agency to be member of a four-member team which visited Chicago to interrogate David Coleman Headly, one of the accused in the terrorist attacks in Mumbai on 26.11.2008. (2010)

Ms. Indira Jaising is a Senior Counsel at the Supreme Court of India, and founder of an NGO, Lawyers Collective. Ms. Jaising has been the first woman to be designated a Senior Advocate by the High Court of Bombay, and the first woman Additional Solicitor General of India. She has passionately advocated women's rights and human rights causes, and argued the Githa Hariharan case, the case of Rupan Deol Bajaj, and represented the victims of the Bhopal gas tragedy, amongst others.
