NALSAR hosted the 78th Session of the Institute De Droit International (headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland) between September 3-10, 2017. Several leading names in the field of International Law will be participating in this programme, including some sitting and retired judges of the International Court of Justice (ICJ). We are grateful to Dr. P.S. Rao who is currently the President of IDI for playing an instrumental role in bringing this programme to India for the first time.
The inaugural programme was held on September 3, 2017 (Sunday) at 4 pm - 5 pm inside the NALSAR auditorium and is open to the general public. Sh. M. Venkaiah Naidu, the Hon'ble Vice President of India and Sh. E.S.L. Narasimhan, Hon'ble Governor of the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will be the guests of honour. Justice Ramesh Ranganathan, Chief Justice of the Hyderabad High Court and Sh. M. Mahmood Ali, Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana were in attendance.
Prof. V Balakista Reddy, our present Registrar, is the co-ordinator of this programme. Anita Singh, B. Nagalaksmi and Jyoti Sharma have worked very hard to put things in place for the same.
