Hon’ble Justice U. C. Banerjee, former judge Supreme Court of India and founder Chancellor of NALSAR, instituted the Dr. S. P. Chatterjee Centre for Environmental Law Studies in the memory of his father-in-law in order to work on cutting edge issues of environment law and policy and provide a platform for dialogue amongst civil society, industry and regulatory authorities. The Centre publishes a regular newsletter titled Green News and Views.
