Varun Malik

Mr. Varun Malik has pursued Bachelor Degree in Law, in the batch of 2010-15, from Amity Law School, Amity University Rajasthan. In pursuance of his interest in academia, he appeared for Common Law Admission Test in the year 2015 and got admitted to NALSAR as a PG Student. He elected the subjects around International Trade Law and Public Law & Legal Theory Specializations during the course of his Master’s degree. He has further assisted Prof. Amita Dhanda in the revision of NS Bindra's Interpretation of Statutes.

He joined NALSAR in June 2016 as a Teaching Associate and served at the designation till May 2017. He has tutored for Code of Civil Procedure and Administrative Law and has assisted Prof. Amita Dhanda in the revision of MP Jain & SN Jain's book on Administrative Law during the course of his TA ship at NALSAR. Thereafter, he was promoted to Assistant Professor and has been serving in the capacity since June 2017.  

In addition to academic role, he serves as a Warden for the Boys Hostels and a member of IT and Library Committee of the University.

His areas of interest include Animal Rights, Commercial Law, International Trade Law, Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure and Civil Remedies.

Apart from academic and administrative engagements, he loves to ride bicycle, swim and read/ write Urdu Shayari and Hindi Kavita.
