Rahul Gandhi Burra

Dr. Rahul Gandhi Burra comes with 9 years of industrial as well as academic experience in various domains of management particularly Supply Chain management. His career kick-started as a management trainee in marketing at PEC limited, a PSU under ministry of commerce where he was responsible for managing imports and domestic sales. Later he joined Infosys and was associated with their ProcureEdge platform (built on SAP SRM) of Business platforms unit. His team worked closely in executing M&A, Strategic partnerships & alliances, Business Research, Marketing and Presales related activities. His last corporate experience was with CtrlS Datacenters Ltd, working for CMD’s office under the capacity of AVP, Corporate planning. He was entrusted with various responsibilities in the areas of Business Analytics, Business plan formulation & new business development, marketing and strategy formulation. Later, in mid-2014, he started his journey in academics as an Assistant Professor by teaming up with the bright minds at Centre for Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.
 
He strongly believes that learning can be imparted in a fearless but disciplined environment. Since he lays more emphasis on quantitative approach while addressing real life problems he simulates them by teaching students at a moderate pace and then give rigorous exercises to practice them as quantitative aptitude can be strongly imparted by practice. He rewards meritocracy and at the same time believes "simplifying the systems" is the key to address the burning issues of Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity in the minds of students. He doesn't believe in weaker students but in the right dissipation of knowledge by the teacher.
 
He feels MS-Excel is one of the best inventions from Microsoft and has been teaching the interested on how to leverage it for personal, corporate and academic purposes.
He loves interacting with students and involves in knowledge sharing sessions with them besides counseling them in shaping their career. For the past six years, he could experience good number of success stories towards this initiative.

He actively participate in seminars, workshops and deliver guest lectures across various venues. He is interested in planning and organizing the execution of events and has been doing the same throughout his corporate as well as academic career and hence he could able to successfully lead the MBA admissions at CMS NALSA
