Rachna Reddy B., is a law graduate of ILS Law College, Pune and later went on to do her LLM in International and Comparative Law from UCLA, School of Law. She is also pursuing her PhD in International Human Rights from University of Leicester, UK. She has worked for ‘Human Rights Project,’ a firm specializing in asylum law and international human rights in Los Angeles. She predominantly specialized in appellate work to the US circuit courts, as part of client defense at the Human Rights Project. She has also taught international business Law, export and import and Government regulations and business at California International University over the past 3 1/2 years. She has recently presented a paper on ‘Welfare state: A Myth or Reality? From the Agricultural Crisis perspective,’ in India at the annual UGC national seminar and has contributed a Book review for the MK Nambyar SAARC Law centre upcoming news letter edition. Her areas of interest are international human right, national security studies, international trade law, international criminal law, critical race studies from an Indian perspective, entertainment and media studies, and other socio-legal issue study and analysis. She teaches both the LLB and conducts a few classes for the LLMs in their chosen specialization
