Mr. D. Bala Krishna has done his LL.M with specialization in criminal law. He also did his internship at NHRC in the year 1999.
Before joining NALSAR he worked as Lecturer at Akhila Barathi College of Law, Adharsha Law College, University College of Law, University Arts & Science College and District Police Training College for a period of eight years. Apart from teaching assignments he has also served as a NSS Progamme Officer, co-coordinator for Pathway Project (PCI), State Resource Person for MHRD & APSACS. Earlier he has taught various subjects including Constitutional Law, Environmental Jurisprudence, Intellectual Property Rights and Community Policing. His areas of teaching interest also includes Terrorism and Law, Cyber Crimes and Law, Development and Law etc.
